Price is cut! Apollo / Honda VFR750, C15 Sexy wing. Hungary
Apollo Racer GT/C15 5000 Euros !!
I have found the microlight I really wanted (ixess 15 / Deltajet / 912 UL)
and so I have to sell my two trikes as soon as possible! Last price because it's urgent and I need the money for the new aircraft ASAP: 5000 Euros!
My Honda / Apollo Racer / Apollo Sexy 15 trike is for sale in Hungary. I had it to replace my Suzuki G10 but operation under legal conditions is now limited because of new CAA restrictions on UL-s that does not allow Honda engines to be built into trikes (except for Suzuki and Rotax).
Trike: modified Apollo Racer GT with foldable hang tube, three hydraulic disc brakes, 35 liter aluminum fuel tank and basic flight instruments (IAS, VSI, Altimeter, fuel level, RPM, battery charge level). Extra: 2 landing lights, 3 LED strobes, secondary electric fuel pump, dual ignition switches.
Wing: Apollo C15 Sexy, built in 2014, never been folded. Looks absolutely like new, no damages, in perfect condition, with approx. 150 hours.
IMPORTANT! Engine: Honda VFR 750 F, with enforced engine to prop belt gear. Engine is in good condition, is powerful and very quiet, I had lots of fun flying. Carburetor is overhauled, but has sign of wear inside and so it might need to be changed! Engine runs perfectly on takeoff RPM but at lower RPM-s than cruising I experienced fluctuation that is somehow varies with airspeed. More the airspeed, more the fluctuation! Sure something around the 4 carbs.. Has 35 thousand kilometers as motorbike and approx. 150 hours in the air as an UL engine. This is the only headache, that didn't show up the first 15 hours of flying and was present in the last 15..
Propeller is a three blade Kievprop in perfect condition, with a minor scratch (repaired) on one of the blade surfaces (not on leading edge).
Reason for sell: new year, new rules and custom built trikes like this will cost much more than expected to turn them legal. Better to wait more (and work more) to get a factory built, used on with 912 - that is what I have found now in mid november!
The trike can be seen and tested at Retsag Airfield in Hungary.
Please keep in mind, that I am outside the country for work and might not be present personally.
