800 hours on airframe and engine.
Based at the historic WW1 Old Sarum Airfield,
This is an excellent aircraft. It was bought by my Group syndicate in September 2016. It is our third aircraft, of the type. The previous two were periodically sold and are both still flying.
There are 20 shares in the Group and 18 pilots. The monthly fee is £25 per calendar month paid by direct debit to the Group’s account. This covers all of the expenses in the group including insurance and maintenance. We are an extremely well run Group and in very good health financially and possibly, the cheapest C42 club syndicate in the country. There are no debts.
The aircraft is kept on the airfield under bespoke covers and tied down.
Availability is excellent. Bookings are made on e-Allocator (a simple to operate web based system).
There is a cleaning rota, all pilots take a turn at washing and cleaning the aircraft. It is cleaned once per month and with 20 shares, for a 1 share pilot it comes round every 20 months.
Flying costs are £20 per hour dry and it runs on Supergrade motor gas available from all quality petrol stations (a list of approved petrol brands will be given as no ethanol can be permitted in the fuel).
The aircraft has a Hobbs meter which activates at around 25 knts so start up, warm up, taxi and power checks are only costing you the fuel you burn.
I am asking £2,500 for a quick sale.
Features of the aircraft:
* Ultra low monthly fee;
* Very low hourly rate;
* 11-13 litres per hour;
* Less than 3 years old;
* 800hrs on airframe and engine;
* 100hp Rotax powered;
* Runs on supergrade motor gas available from all quality petrol stations;
* Full instrumentation, including;
* Top notch Funkwerk ATR833 radio; (two frequencies, one active and one on monitor. Active freq can be switched at the touch of a button.
* Vertical card compass;
* 12v socket on dashboard;
* Hobbs meter activated by airspeed;
The group has an excellent relationship with CFI’s Mark McLelland and Paul Lanham of Airsport UK, for NPPL (M) revalidations. A flight in the aircraft and an away landing will need to be arranged with Mark or Paul before you will be accepted by the Group as a new member. This is a normal flight and nothing drastic.
