Genuine reason for sale. We love this aircraft and have had some great adventures. It has taken us round the local patch and all the way across Europe on a 3000nm epic burning less than 20 lt/hr (winning the Scottish Aero Club furthest distance flown trophy in the process). We are very soon taking delivery of an RV6 so sadly the Sting has to go…

Locking fuel cap.
Baggage capacity is 8kg on the rear shelf plus 8kg each in the left and right lockers behind the seats (inaccessible in flight, lockers are under shelf so same arm for Weight and Balance)
Cruise speeds are
115 - 120 kt using 5000rpm/26" MAP burning 20 lt/hr
110 - 115 kt using 4800rpm/26" MAP burning 18 lt/hr
or you can pull right back and tootle around at 100kt burning 16lt/hr or less. For planning I use 110kt and 20 lt/hr
Vne is 144kt
Cockpit heating. Three fresh air vents in the canopy provide plenty of ventilation.
Always hangared. Canopy/engine cover, three prop blade covers, pitot cover, aileron locks and towbar included. Towbar unscrews into two sections to fit in baggage locker. Various spares and sundries also available inc. spark plugs, oil filters, oil and rubber engine mounts.
BRS parachute is overdue a repack. This has in the past been a complicated exercise involving dangerous goods shipments to the Czech Republic. There is now a UK service agent which should simplify the process considerably. MPD 2019-005 (BRS markings) to be complied with before sale.
