Thruster T600T Sprint United Kingdom
T600T Sprint £8,495
A two seat side-by-side three axis microlight. The tailwheel version is strong, ideal for short strips and on grass, and kind to the undercarriage. Factory built in 2005; the last one to be built in December 2005 by Gordon Pill. Years of life left in her – a mere 279 hours on the airframe, engine rebuilt about 45 hours ago; solid lifters replacing the former hydraulic ones.
A comfortable, compact travelling machine which cruises at 65-75 knots at 12 litres/hr two up, less if solo. 50 litre tank. Visibility is exceptional and, with the doors off, there's nothing in the way of good photography. All struts and nuts are clearly visible and not covered by metal panels. The wings are covered in strong Ultralam which is in very good condition. G-DIDY has always been hangered and never pranged.
Fitted with all standard Thruster instruments: ASI; altimeter, vertical speed indicator; tacho combines with Hobbs meter to record the time the aircraft is in use; oil temperature; oil pressure; and dual CHT.
The aircraft is also fitted with a MGL Avionics Xtreme mini EFIS comprehensive flight and engine instrument which among other things incorporates GPS, fuel level and fuel flow. Check out:
In addition above-and-below strobes; electric carb de-icer; wired for radio and Lynx-style headsets.
Drum brakes though I have a set of disk brake callipers, wheels, tyres and spats, plus master cylinder which I haven’t got round to fitting; available through separate negotiation.
Permitted until March 2021 with the BMAA.
The aircraft is currently hangered at Clench Common in Wiltshire and is available for viewing by appointment.
