FI(A)s wanted - Marham Aero Club, Norfolk

RAF Marham Aero Club is recruiting FI(A)s (unrestricted or restricted) to teach primarily LAPL and PPL students. The club also offers aerobatics rating and plans to soon grow to offer the night rating. Instructors are paid £30ph for flying and ground instruction under a consultancy agreement. The club is growing rapidly and we are currently limited by instructor availability; we have many students and more waiting to join!

The successful applicant will get the opportunity to train military and civilian personnel from a RAF Main Operating Base on the T67C and will join a highly motivated team of FI(A)s who are mostly also military Qualified Flying Instructors. Due to the nature of their job the current team are often deployed and successful applicants will provide continuity in being available on a more regular basis (the club operates 7 days per week).

What we are looking for:

• An enthusiastic individual who is keen to get involved in the running of a club as it grows and eventually taking a leading role in the club;
• Someone who is available on a regular basis, but on their own terms;
• Essential: FI(A) (Unrestricted or Restricted) (LAPL only or PPL);
• Desirable: Military flying experience including Volunteer Gliding School/University Air Squadron.
