This propeller is airworthy and was fitted to a Piper L-4 that I imported in 2008. It was test flown on the aircraft here in the UK before the CAA kindly pointed out that it was not cleared for this aircraft and had to be replace.
It had been fitted to the L-4 by the USAF or Civil Air Patrol in June 1969 and was flown on the aircraft from that date to 2009.
The Serial No would indicate that it was manufactured in the 1950, but it is still just fine.
Some scuffing on the back of the hub, which has been polished out, possibly through contact with a cowl clip, hence the price. These props are ?2500 on the Univair website today.
I believe that this type for a 90HP engine, but I am not sure.
I will be happy to deliver, if within 40 miles of Redhill.
