The project consists of a complete disassembled Victa 100 and a Glos-Air 150 fuselage. The 150 wing has been cut up as it was rotten and I needed the space.
The 100 wing will need to be de-skinned and checked for corrosion as will the fuselage. The 150 fuselage has the upper skins removed which has revealed minor corrosion. Both aircraft have been the victim of accidents but both have had repairs done. There are engine mountings for an O-200 or an O-235 so she could be rebuilt as either. Alternatively the wing can be upgraded to 150 standard to suit the other fuselage.
The 150 fuselage is mounted on a steel transport frame as is the 100 wing.
There is no engine or propellor, nor instruments or radios etc.
Airtourers are stressed to +6 / -3g and are EASA Annex II aircraft
I estimate that this is a 1,000+ hour project which is why I'm not doing it as I haven't retired yet.
Please note that the picture attached was taken 10+ years ago and she is now stripped down. The pic is purely to show what an Airtourer looks like not what condition the fuselage is in now.
The Airtourer 100 was the first Airtourer imported into Britain so there's a little bit of history there. However, as much as I'd like to see her fly again, the parts are worth around ?3.5k so that's what I'm asking.
