BRM Land Africa

The BRM Land Africa is a factory built progression of the Zenith CH-701 STOL aircraft. The Land Africa is peerless for operating out of unprepared sites that simply could not accommodate any other fixed wing aircraft. Perhaps the only way to better the Land Africa is with a highly modified Alaskan Cub – but even that would not have the versatility on paved runways and would incur much high cost/fuel burn.

This 2010 Land Africa uses the very reliable Rotax 912S which is 100hp, and moves her along at 80kts. Under 450kg so classed as a microlight - this example is well equipped with a Kiev Prop and Sparco Seats. The aircraft comes with a Becker radio and a permit valid through to Sept 2014. Low time, and damage free this example is as good as it gets if your mission profile requires unbeatable STOL performance.

Interior
Full length glass swing up doors open up to 2 place Spacro bucket style seats with 4 point harness. Intercom for both and full dual controls allows for a great environment for training or touring. Quilted rear bulkhead with provision for light baggage ahead of same.

Exterior
Recently repainted in Haze Grey with red and black accents. Red on spinner, slats and tail fairings set off the scheme with distinct contrast.
