Microlight Hangar Trolley for sale £200 o.n.o. - SOLD NOW THANKS TO AFORS.
This professionally built galvanised steel trolley has been used for my Ace Aviation Magic, a Blade 912 and most recently my Quik 912S Explorer. I believe the previous owner used it for a SkyRanger. It has full 360 degree castering wheels to enable easy manoeuvering.
To accommodate the larger tyre on the nose wheel of my Quik Explorer I have coach bolted a wooden ramp on top of the normal galvanised steel one, but this unbolts and is easily removed exposing the original front wheel channel if you have regular microlight width wheels.
The two rocking ramps for the main wheels are adjustable for width so it should be able to take most flexwing and 3-axis microlights without any problems. The ramps hinge and are held in place by magnets for when pulling the trolley around empty.
The original design of the trolley unbolted so that it could be disassembled and transported in a family car (I got it back from Norwich in my Toyota Corolla!).
However, to strengthen it for the uneven surfaces of the farm strip I have had a couple of cross braces welded on. This means if you wanted to disassemble it for car transport (as opposed to a van or road trailer) you would need to remove these cross braces first (a quick hacksaw or angle grinder job).
Located at Sittles Airfield in Staffordshire (between Lichfield and Burton on Trent, just off the A38). Buyer would need to collect.
