An incredible aircraft and genuinely like no other..
Group A Mk3 Kitfox with a four stroke Rotax 912 engine with just 290 hours. Impeccably maintained with over 4 hour endurance. The panel has all the usual VFR instruments as well as an artificial horizon, radio and transponder.
The wing fold is very straight forward and requires little effort. In under ten minutes the aircraft can be on its trailer and ready for road transportation.
G-BUDR has done more than its fair share of touring and has flown over the length of the Pyrenees, visited Greece, Portugal and Ibiza to name just a few. From its base in Oxfordshire it has flown to Spain in a single day more than once. When touring there is plenty of useful storage with a wing locker and storage bins behind the seats.
The airframe has approximately 570 hours and was extensively overvalued and modified 300 hours ago.
Laa approved modifications included clipping the wings to make the aircraft more stable during landing as well as an increasing the cruise speed to 100mph. At the same time the power plant was changed in favour of the Rotax 912 for unparalleled reliability and lower running costs.
Once the work was completed G-BUDR was weighed, flew a 7 hour test flight regime and issued with a new permit to fly.
In short this is a stunning and genuine aircraft in first class condition with all new transparencies throughout. Before contacting me please do your homework and if not already a tailwheel pilot then a convertion will be essential. Flying a tailwheel aircraft is incredibly fun and rewarding but does demand a little more attention at times! :-)
