The closure of Long Marston airfield is forcing me to sell my lovely Rans S6 as I cannot find any alternative hangarage.

G-BYZO is a very standard Rans S6 although I do think she is a lovely example of a very fine type, a real aeroplane. I bought her to become a better pilot and I think I will pass her onto the next custodian as one. Personally, I think the S6/582 is a much better combination than the 912 due to the extra weight. She will climb at 1000 ftp one up and there isn’t much of a reduction with two up.
Cruise is about 70 mph at approx. 12 L/M she will cruise at 80mph at about 15-16 L/M.
Wind tanks hold 35 Ltrs each side.
There is a handheld radio plumbed which works well (not 8.33 but easily replaced).
I have owned the aircraft for the last three and half years and have put about 100 very pleasurable hours on the 582 which now stands at 880 hours but has been very looked after and never misses a beat. The 100 hour service was done less than 10 hours ago and the crank is still indicating loads of life left in it.
Skins are in good condition and are approximately 9 years old but aircraft is always covered when hangered.
No damage whilst in my ownership or previous owner and to the best of my knowledge there never has been any.
Viewing is welcome but due to restrictions on airfield access any test flights will need to be booked well in advance as the airfield owners are making weekend access a challenge.
Evenings and Sat am are fine. Other times are possible but access with a car is more difficult.
