Kearney Swaging Machine

Kearney potable swaging machine for swaging MS/AN fittings onto galvanised or stainless steel wire. This is the model 7-1 that includes 7 dies for swaging straight shank fittings onto 1/16, 3/32, 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, and 1/4 inch diameter cables. It also includes 3 dies for swaging sleeve and balls onto 1/16, 3/32, and 1/8 cables. It has a full set (7) of guides to match the swaging rollers, two go gauges for checking the swages, the special spanner for changing the rollers and the instructions/ parts list. In its original steel case.

I bought it from a fellow LAA inspector and have used it to make a few control cables using MS fittings from LAS. It is in excellent condition with no signs of wear on any of the rolls or the mechanism. I think that it has been only occasionally used from new.

It was difficult to decide on the price. However, to buy now from LAS it would cost about £12k! So I feel that my asking price of £3250 is a bargain.
