SOLD - Thanks AFORS Sonex 3300 Taildragger
After three years of very enjoyable and trouble-free ownership it’s time to sell my Jab3300 powered Sonex. This is a fast, agile and strip-capable 2 seater and can be cleared for aerobatics.
The aircraft was built in 2011. I am the third owner and have continued a fastidious maintenance and inspection regime including upgrade of the flywheel bolts to the latest LAA advised config. The aircraft has no problems or required work and is truly a fully-sorted ‘turn-key’ aircraft that is very simple to maintain and operate. All UK mods were completed at build.
It is fitted with an 8.33 radio and intercom with audio-in, strobes and all CHTs, trim and fuel level all displayed on the excellent Enigma EFIS. 230 hrs since new on airframe and engine
Fuel burn from the 60 litre tank is 20 litres/h at 125 mph and 25 litres/h at 155 mph.
