I’ve owned G-BWHK since 2008 and it’s the longest period of ownership of any aircraft I’ve had. HK is the second Rans I’ve owned and is a joy to fly from our airstrip in the Midlands. She has been lovingly looked after and fully hangared throughout. HK operates easily out of our 535m grass strip and takes off and lands in half that distance with ease. Full dual controls makes her ideal to complete conversion to type rating or revalidation check flights and is very predictable and straight forward to fly. Cruise is 90mph burning 12.5 litres per hour with a VNE of 120mph and clean stall of 44mph and 40mph with flap.
HK has recently been recovered and fully serviced by Skycraft Ltd to a high standard and benefits from reduced ownership and operating costs under the LAA permit to fly scheme
Ongoing, regular maintenance has been meticulously completed by me under the watchful eye of my LAA Inspector Les James throughout my 13 years of ownership.
As I'm purchasing a new aircraft, and can't quite justify owning two, it's time for her to find a new owner, hence the reason for sale.
Viewing is strongly recommended as you’ll struggle to find a better example of this type.
