Offered to the Market is a Europa [Classic] Trigear fitted with a Rotax 912 UL [80 Hp] Engine. The aircraft was converted from a monowheel to Tri gear undercarriage with finger brakes about 2 years ago and has completed very few hours, so parts still as new. The empty weight is 878 lbs and the MAUW is 1370 lbs.
The aircraft recently suffered a prop strike and has a brand new engine mount and another engine of known origin fitted which was stripped, inspected, repainted, valves lapped and re-assembled by Kevin Dilks of Special Aviation Services, so no 20yr old low hour engine horrors lie inside undetected. It is currently fitted with a 62” Warp drive prop and like all Europa’s regardless of engine could benefit from a VP prop of which I have priced to reflect.
I have the original Airmaster hub which could be sent away with the warp drive blades for inspection, repair and assembly or fit a Woodcomp ……. I have left this to the next owners discretion.
It currently cruises at 5000rpm 25” @ 100kn, 5200rpm is 110kn.
Climb at MAUW is 638FPM.
The Cockpit is fitted with analogue instruments, ICOM 8.33 Radio, Intercom, Garmin GTX327 [Mode C] Transponder, Smart ASS [Talking ASI], and SkyForce GPS , has the extended luggage area and a mod approved simple dipstick for the fuel tank as well as the electronic gauge.
I recently bought the aircraft following the prop strike, as I carried out P1 door replacement and light tailplane repairs as Targett Aviation last year, I also check flew it. At the time I felt it was well built, flew superbly and so it had to be made airworthy again.
As of 13/6/22 the Airframe hours are 506.45 and Engine 1124.20
The Permit to Fly expires 05/06/2023.
Comes with canopy cover
The Sale Price is £ 26’000.00 all sensible offers considered.
