This is a 7/8 scale replica of a Nieuport 11/16, World War 1 biplane, built by myself from an Airdrome Aircraft kit obtained through Grass Strip Aviation, and constructed using modern materials principally aluminium tube. Registered as G-CILI, it first flew 27.9.2018, and has flown a total of 6 times, last flew September 2020, and has been since then stored dismantled on a trailer due to various circumstances including the airstrip which had been used not being available. The engine is a Subaru V Twin 4 stroke adapted and improved for aircraft use with a belt reduction drive and Hercules 2 blade prop, with quoted power of 48hp. Please see pictures.
Gross Weight 300kg, empty weight 193kg. It would suit pilots 70 to 90kg, and height up to 6ft, though it would be possible to adapt by altering seat position etc. It comes with a road going trailer (not enclosed), a 7/8 scale replica Lewis Gun, period Leather helmet and goggles.
