The share has now been sold.
Thanks to AFORS we had a significant amount of interest in the share from a wide range of pilots
The Group, in the interest of keeping costs down, and in view of the high availability of the Aircraft, has considered increasing the Group by a further two suitable members.
The requirements for these members would be at least 100 hrs total SEP time. with good experience of GA airfields of varying runway lengths, surfaces and operational procedures.
The Hourly ( tacho) at present, is £136 per hr, variable with the cost of AVGAS current at the time, it includes a engine fund to fully fund replacement at 2000hrs and provision for maintenance related to flying hrs.
The monthly would be an attractive £125 per month .
( This would work out on average at £210 per tacho hr for a pilot flying 20 hrs per annum, competitive with flying club rates considering the performance and quality of the Piper Archer with a higher cruise speed than most club PA28’s, the freedom to take the aircraft for a full days, even a week disregarding the hrs flown, home landing fees included along with many other airfields on a reciprocal basis, no delays at the hold on departure or orbits on return as with large airports and no security pass charges)
The Group flying availability is very good with many of the members flying together, taking the aircraft away for a day or more is not a problem, and no restriction to flying anywhere in the UK or Europe.
We are happy to receive interest from suitable pilots, and meet up at Fishburn, to demonstrate the benefits and quality of the Aircraft, its Hangar and the delightful Fishburn Airfield without any commitment .We are also happy to hold pilots contact details on record and advise of future share availability
Some Group members regularly meet up at Fishburn from 3pm to 5 pm on Sundays and suitable pilots are welcome to come along
If interested please contact John Elliott, Group Secretary at joelliott747@aol.com in the first instance
The Share price is competitively priced at £5500,
