This is a Garmin GPSmap 496 in good working condition. It comes with a 12v car type charging lead and a Garmin beanbag mount that sits on the aircraft coaming without having to install a mount.
It has a recent generic battery fitted that lasts for several hours, I usually had it plugged into the aircraft's 12v socket so the battery has had very little use.
The unit is in good condition, there is one small scratch on the screen bottom right, you can see it when the unit is off, but it does not affect the display at all when switched on.
There are several pictures attached showing the unit switched on and receiving a signal, with my home location blurred out, and another few pictures showing it in simulation mode with the screens available when flying.
I can't find the original mains charger, but the supplied lead works fine in the car or the aircraft.
Good reliable unit, especially if you do not have much space available or don't want the hassle of an ipad/tablet and software.
