Robin (CEA) DR250 Capitaine – For Sale
A genuine 4-seat tourer with great load carrying capacity, long legs, and a virtually new engine – G-BJBO has been operated successfully by a Syndicate for the past 20 years, but as Syndicate members have moved on, the time has come to offer this great aircraft back to the market.
160 hp Lycoming 0-320-E – zero time rebuild with new crank in 2022, TTE now approx. 170 Hrs. TTA 5293. Hrs will be increasing as BJBO is still in use.
IFR avionics including GNS430 Nav/Com system with 8.33 spacing and Bendix Mode A/C/S Transponder.
MAUW 960kg, useful load 327kg, Fuel 2 x 40ltr wing tank, 70ltr main and a C of G range that is difficult to exceed. An additional 50 ltr “Ferry tank” allows real long distance flying, with a max fuel capacity of 200 ltrs. 115 kt cruise at less than 30ltr/hr (110kt at less than 24 ltr/hr), without the complexity of VP prop or retractable u/c.
Internally, the aircraft was re-upholstered with leather in 2019 and remains in excellent condition.
For any EU-based buyers – as the aircraft was originally French registered, it’s likely it could be re-imported to EU countries without further duties being paid, and re-registration onto the French register should be straightforward.
Currently based at Oaksey Park – hangerage would be available at Oaksey subject to mutual agreement between the new owner and Oaksey Park.
Annual due January 2025 – new annual can be arranged at cost in situ.
