HISTORY
• Purchased new by European Air Transport, then an air taxi company in Belgium and registered OO-JPC. Brought to the UK in 1996 by an aircraft dealer and registered G-BWVO. Following an overhaul, it was purchased by the Brendair group in early 1997 and registered G-IFFR.
• Brendair was originally a 4 member family-based group. Following the passing of the other members it has been in my sole ownership since 2018.
• Based at RAF Henlow from 1997. Hangarage became available around 2012, and it was hangered there until the airfield was closed in 2020. Based at IWM Duxford since then.
• Maintained since 1997 by Brinkley Aircraft Services Ltd at Meppershall, Beds.
• First Garmin avionics overhaul in 2010. Second in 2022.
PROPOSAL
• The zero-houring of the engine is a significant investment. But it offers the perfect opportunity to create a new group of between 3 and 6 co-owners who would be acquiring a share of an extremely well-specified tourer with a zero houred engine capable of carrying 4 adults (or 2 adults and 3 or 4 children) and masses of baggage and 650nm range.
• Indicative costing (based on, say, 4 co-owners)
o Purchase of Quarter share: £35,000 ono.
o Monthly overheads (to cover parking, insurance and maintenance): £250.
o Fuel: at cost to the pilot (currently around £120ph).
