Full restoration history documented
44-79790 was delivered in the same shipment as the late Ken Wakefield 's cub in 1944, and is mentioned in his article Full Circle.
Arriving in Bristol, before being ferried to France, to join the 8th Army.
She was involved in the Battle of Bastogne, dropping medical supplies.
Along with her history is the pilot logbook, giving a unique day by day account of her missions during the war.
I have owned her since the year 2000 and have since restored another 3 L4 Cubs including Romain Hugault's L4B.
I therefore can confirm, she is a genuine piece of ww2 history and a perfect introduction to Warbird flying.
