While this would definitely suit an IMC/IFR rated (or aspiring) pilot with touring ambitions, it is equally suited to anyone who wants a significant step up in performance from a standard 172 but without losing the great visibility and the beautifully benign handling.
NB Currently on the N-reg aircraft so an FAA licence would be required to operate it outside the UK. (A relatively simple paperwork exercise to get an FAA piggyback licence.) However I am considering changing it to the UK reg - especially if that suits interested parties.
NB 2) All training (eg night/IMC/IFR etc) apart from Ab-initio can be conducted on this aircraft even while on the N-reg.
