McCauley 1A105/SCM 70" X 53" used prop

Used propeller, McCauley 1A105/SCM 70" X 53", it was installed on a Continental C90-14F before being replaced by a Hoffmann blade.

It currently resides in Taunton, Somerset and is now surplus to requirement.

It has been repaired previously, by Rogers Aviation at Cranfield.

The McCauley is a coarse pitched prop while the Hoffmann is a fine pitched prop and this was preferred because of our short, hilly grass strip that is the current home base of the Group owned aircraft.
