It is with a heavy heart that I put this wonderful little aircraft up for sale!
Over the last 18 months I’ve spent £60k on upgrades and a refurb at Airmasters UK (The Flight Design UK Dealer/Factory), anything that looked old or tired was replaced and the avionics are now as good as it gets.
The Rotax 912 ULS will cruise at 110kts burning 16 l/h and with the new E-Props prop it takes off in less than 80m landing just as short.
130 Litre wing tanks give around 6 hours of endurance, closer to 10 if you drop to 90kts burning only 12l/h.
The engine and all ancillary parts are on 23 hours (Yes 23, that’s not a typo!) with the airframe on 800 and the E-Props prop on only 4 hours.
You have a 10” Dynon HDX with every option! Accompanying transponder, radio, intercom and GPS auto pilot (send over you Skydemon route and it will fly itself to your destination).
It also has the Dynon AOA Pitot probe (so yes there is an AOA indicator and stall warner) and is independent of the original Pitot tube which now just serves the backup steam ASI and Aircrew EFIS on the P2 side of the binnacle for redundancy.
Here is a list of everything that was replaced as part of the upgrade/refurb:
Engine and all ancillaries (Carbs, starter, ignition modules, oil pump, fuel pump, etc. literally everything under the cowling!).
Engine frame.
Complete wiring loom.
Battery and mount.
Nose leg.
All leg fairings and spats, plus upgrading to a CTSW nose leg fairing for less drag.
Tailplane.
All wheel bearings.
Brakes (Discs, pads and callipers).
Tyres and tubes.
Instrument binnacle and panels.
All switches and breakers.
Fuel selector.
Seats retrimmed in Alcantara with matching stick gaiters.
Sticks powder coated and grips replaced.
Carpet set.
Paint and decals.
Wing tanks resealed (Sloshed).
Tank cap seals.
All fuel hoses, rubbers, clamps and clips (basically the 5 year hose and rubber service plus more).
Door seals.
Cabin heater hose and clips.
Landing light, nav lights and strobes, tail light/strobes
USB A & C Outputs on right hand panel.
Custom tablet mount and Samsung tablet included with sale.
Outdoor cover and prop covers included.
Permit valid to 6th November.
I think that’s everything but please feel free to ask if I’ve missed something.
What you are looking at here is as close to a new CT as you can get but for less than half the price!
Asking £105k.. I will consider offers but please bear in mind just how good this really is.
As it was registered before the new 600kg category it’s MOTW on paper is limited to 450kg, but as with all CT’s it actual MTOW is 600KG so if you and your passenger are on the larger side you’ve got some headroom… Literally too, the cabin is huge and high!
