This is a Garmin 296 GPS that is surplus to requirements.

This sale consists of:

Garmin 296 GPS unit

Garmin carry bag

Mounting bracket with fittings

12v cigarette to GPS power cable

USB to GPS data cable x 2

Garmin remote antenna with suction mount

Unknown brand remote antenna

Garmin 495 Owners Manual (note that the unit is a 296).

This unit is in good working condition and the case is in good condition.
There are a couple of issues:
1. The battery appears to be dead. New batteries are available.
2. One of the battery connections has broken (see photo). This can be fixed if you feel keen and a new connector can be found online.

Therefore the unit will only work off external power.

Apart from the two issues above, this is a good clean unit.
