Hello Guys I have decided to sell a half share my fantastic little Scorcher 447 and my P&M Rapier 462. Firstly the Scorcher:-
Well what can I say she is in fantastic condition for her age, light to fly, fast if you need it to be up to70mph, reasonably long legged with fuel capacity of 44litres in two tanks which can be switched over in flight with ease . The seat is very comfortable much nicer than the cramped chaser and really just as fast.
She has following instruments:-
The total hours are 423 she has been well maintained at 320 hours I had the following work done by Mark Strubby at Sutton Meadows :- wing strip replacing all lower flying wires, hang bracket, nylon bearing , stainless steel disks and pip rings to luff lines. Trike strip:- renewing, headstock and hang bolt, front strut assembly, front axle and nylon bushes through snoot, new axel and monopole plates and bolts, throttle and choke cables with new splitter along with full engine strip and gearbox service along with new bearing for cooling fan.
Secondly the P&M Rapier 462:- which has the trim able blade wing 50 to 65 mph, 65 litre fuel tank, electric start, two seater with radio and intercoms in fantastic condition with only 92 hours total time and a recent permit pass. I will be purchasing the new lower flying wires when I sell the half share in these two aircraft.
They are hangered semi rigged on wing trollies at a really good small airfield in South Lincolnshire with good approaches and
eight directions to land in. The hangerage is not expensive but
its hard to find in this area with every thing ready to go.
I am only asking £2250.00 for a half share in both aircraft a great way to get flying at not much money, come on guys where else would you get two very different aircraft to fly for the price of one.
