P&M Aviation PulsR GTR G-FFFA
This is a one-off opportunity to buy the ultimate flexwing cruising machine!
This 2012 exceptional example has a very modest 286 hrs on the engine and 245 airframe hours. It has just had a major refurbishment and fully renovated, including being re-painted, here at the factory and now has a completely new wing and Union Flag sail. We also carried out a 100hr service on the engine at the same time. The aircraft has been maintained to a high standard by ex-service personnel and is held here at the factory.
During the refurbishment, the machine has been updated to the very latest specification and has the current side cooling intakes, improved visual backup fuel gauge. It also has new seat covers, two new tyres, new pod graphics and new nickel leading edge propeller as well as the latest reduced sail modifications which reduces roll forces by 23% and makes the handling very sweet.
It also is fitted with an electric cooling fan, should you be made to hold on the ground for long periods during very hot days as well as an oil thermostat, which allows for quicker warm up from cold.
It has an analogue instrument fit, with TRIG 8.33khz Transponder and TRIG radio with plenty of space on the panel for a mini iPad etc.
The fuselage pod is of monocoque composite construction trike providing an extremely strong but lightweight primary structure.
The composite beam undercarriage provides an unrivalled soft and compliant ride over rough ground.
Comfort is further enhanced by the seats being fully adjustable and the pilot’s pedal length can also be adjusted in a few seconds. The aircraft is also fitted instructor control bars.
Recent flights include flying it two up to the Blois ULM Airshow and back on 1-3 September (708 miles and 9 flying hours) without a hitch and in great comfort.
Further proof of the capability of the PulsR is that the Canadian one flew 19,500 miles during 2017 – further demonstrating that these are serious going places machines.
