HYBRED 44XLR 503 (Medway Raven) STILL AVAILABLE United Kingdom

I'm holding my hands up folks! I think I made a mistake trying an EBay auction to sell this lovely Permitted Medway Raven. Twice it made reserve, but unbelievably twice winning bidders have not progressed their purchase! one didn't even get in touch! Bizarre behaviour.. Hey-ho, you live and learn.

So once again:

Please find here for sale a fine example of a Two Seat Medway Raven Hybred 44XLR weight shift control (flexwing) microlight aircraft. This is a factory built aircraft with a current permit to fly valid to March 2022. An ideal aircraft for a qualified microlight pilot on a budget or a post duel training student pilot looking for that first aircraft. Less common than the more familiar Pegasus and Mainair types, Medway aircraft were built to a very high standard with quality components with much use of stainless steel on major parts like engine mounts and brackets. The Raven Wing originally designed and built by Southdown International is considered by many a thing of beauty with its distinctive shape and is still a great wing to fly today.

This aircraft was originally manufactured in 1990 and for a microlight could be considered "historic". However although it's a fair age it has had little air time and has been well kept in storage while out of use. Recently subject to a complete overhaul and thorough check by a BMAA senior inspector, this aircraft has a current permit to fly valid to March 2022.
The Aircraft is based fully rigged at Carlisle Lake District Airport in Cumbria and is available to view anytime. The aircraft does not have a trailer included, however a microlight trailer with a wing rack can usually be found to hire or borrow from someone at a local school.
Technical information can be found on the BMAA website here.
All log books and paperwork present and up to date
Total Hours 374 - Engine is a Rotax 503 with an excellent and original Newton prop 62"x42"

I don't want to put a potential owner off, however this is important to understand.
A UK Microlight pilot's licence PPL/NPPL is required to fly this aircraft. Information about microlight flying and learning to fly can be found on the British Microlight Aircraft Association website - If you're not qualified to fly, do consider having a chat with your nearest microlight flying school.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: Although this aircraft has a current CAA permit to fly which means it was deemed to be airworthy at the point of inspection and check flight (March 2021) on-going airworthiness is the responsibly of the owner/pilot and no future guarantee of airworthiness can be given or implied at the time of sale.
