One third, or potentially a half share available in this Old Warden (Bedfordshire) based DH82a Tiger Moth.
Completely rebuilt in 1996 by Aero Antiques with new Gipsy Major 1H engine.
Airframe and engine 720 hours but last year the engine underwent extensive refurbishment with Vintage Aircraft Technologies. This was a top end overhaul plus some extras, including an inspection of crankshaft (not normally done in top end overhaul).
The work done was as follows:

Refitting of new Cylinders and Cylinder heads.
Refitting of new Pistons and rings.
Refitting of big end and main bearings.
Crankshaft rockhard protection.

Newly refurbished magnetos and carburettors fitted.
New oil tank
Refurbished fuel tank.

Fitting of newly refurbished Hercules propellor.

In short NEN has had extensive work carried out to the power plant and is now running very sweetly.

Becker 6201 8.33 radio with Sigtronics SP 400N high noise Intercom.
Trig TT22 transponder

New LAA Permit valid to late March 2026.

The syndicate currently comprises 2 active and one non flying member. One of the flying members has indicated his willingness to increase his share, so it is possible to buy either a third or half share in a mechanically sound Tiger.
