Quantum 15 Superspor

It is with deepest regret that I have decided, rather than repair the wing of my Quantum, to sell the trike, engine and parts, and, after many years of flying pleasure, give up aviation.

During a landing accident in 2013, my wing was severely damaged, but with very little damage to the trike. I therefore have for sale these parts from my Pegasus Quantum 15 Supersport , Rotax 582/40. Engine and airframe 262hrs 50mins. 50hr engine service carried out by Raymond Proost of Sky Arrow (Shadow Flight Centre), Old Sarum Airfield, 20 flight minutes before accident. Sky Arrow have serviced this engine for many years. Not a prop strike. Engine was still running after I came to a stop.

• Rotax 582/40 incl exhaust system, radiator, etc.
• ‘C’ type gearbox
• Pod/trike
• Pod is fitted with map/parcel box with pair screw lids
• Both short and long steering links
• Pylon, front strut, etc
• Fairings and wheel spats
• 2 x wing trolleys
• Wade trike trailer, incl jerry can holder, ramps, wing racks, trailer board, lights and spare wheel
• Pair ‘Top Flight’ panniers and fittings for Quantum (never used)
• Pegasus wing bag and trike cover
• Wing skin, some slight but repairable tears. It had just passed the Betts test, immediately before accident
• Elba electronic fuel gauge
• Instruments – Compass, VSI, Altimeter, ASI, EGT, RPM, water temp gauge
• Pair Airzone KingBright Anti-Collision Beacons/strobes, incl main control unit, cables, etc. DC. Lamps fitted to top of kingpost and bottom of trike.
• Plus all other parts not mentioned, incl some wing battens, but not all, batten profile sheet, etc.

Up until my accident, this aircraft was kept in excellent condition, serviced, permitted, etc
