This 100hp Rotax 912s has been in our school C42 and has given us 3270hrs of faultless operation. The engine has been meticulously maintained and serviced since new. It is fitted with a slipper clutch. With the school adding hours at an increasing rate we want to put a lower hours engine in. However for the average user there is still plenty of life in this unit. The compressions are all excellent, there is no increase in oil burn, it starts easily and it is still in operation today. The hours will increase as the engine is still fitted and flying. We do have a replacement engine and will swap it out in the next week or so.
