EV97 £29950.00
EV97 Eurostar 2007 factory built in extremely good condition, flies like new. Permit till July, cabin heater, wheel spats, comes complete with all the radio equipment, also canopy cover. Just had a new gearbox, engine frame, Kiev prop. This planes look really well, all mods up to date. The hours is quite high at 2300 however all the work that needs doing at these hours has just been done. The first to see this plane will fly it away I''''m sure. Only selling because I have bought a CT and if my CT flies as good as this then I will be a happy chappy! It has always been hangered and is currently at Crosland Moor.
*****To all the doubters as to my reason for sale, let me explain myself a little better.
I had ordered a brand new CT, which should''''ve arrived in January. As we are all fully aware, Flight Design have now gone into liquidation. Unfortunately, I sold my old Eurostar (reg. GCCMO) in November knowing I was receiving my CT in January. After being informed by Stardust Aviation eight weeks ago that my CT would not be turning up, I needed an aeroplane temporarily - and saw this plane advertised on Afors for the same price as I am now selling it for.
I had purchased it from Airbourne Aviation at Popham, who are a very decent set of guys. I checked the plane over thoroughly before I purchased it and Greg, the instructor at Popham, went through the whole plane and its history which is second to none.
I would''''ve purchased a second hand CT instead of the Eurostar, but as we are all fully aware as pilots, they are like trying to find hens'''' teeth!
However, on Wednesday of this week, a CT came up on Afors which had just been through probate, and I purchased it. You are quite right in that I have only owned this plane for approximately five weeks, and have only flown it five times during this period, but all its past history I''''m sure Greg can corroborate, and he''''s actually thinking about buying it back.
I certainly resent the comments of ''''Naughty boy'''', etc. Perhaps if you people had given me a telephone call to explain, rather than assuming the worst - anybody wishing to look at this plane, inspect it or even fly it is welcome to do so.
If there were any issues with this plane whatsoever, Greg offered to fix them, which I know he would''''ve done. However, as stated earlier there are absolutely NO problems with this plane whatsoever. Hope this clarifies all your questions for the future.*****
