"WASHKOSH" 2016 September 17th-18th Wingland Airfield

A big shout out from "DA GREEEAN DYYAK MASSIF" welcoming all flyers from around the world (that includes Europe incidentally) to our big summer bash at Wingland by the plughole.

(..the best little airfield in the world).

Following the success of last years event, the show moves into its second year and as usual, we don''''t stand on ceremony (or even sanity) if it flies, we want you here!

As usual, rotary wing participation is more than welcome, so if you have a Bensen with a two stroke, or a CH-53 with a THREE turbines, come and show us what you got.

Paramotors are especially welcome, as we are very Paramotor friendly (indeed, we have many paramotor pilot members), and we just LOVE to play...!

"Squadrons" and "Balbos" of Flexwings and 3 axis feel free to drop in and join the fun. Also single type flocks most welcome (C.42''''''''s? Eurostars? Skyrangers?). Why not organise an expedition from your club? It is easy to get here, and there are no airspace restrictions.

Turbines (Twin Otter maybe?) and Zeppelins especially welcome, as are our lighter than air colleagues(it would be nice to put a couple of balloons up over the weekend). Record attempts will be properly supported and encouraged.

As always, for those who do not have access to an aircraft for the weekend, or want to bring the family along (and we just love families), feel free to come by car!

Early arrivals from Friday afternoon on are most welcome.

ALL proceeds (not just the profits) are split between the Air Ambulance and Macmillan Nurses.

PLUS- THIS YEAR, WE ARE AGAIN GIVING AWAY 12 MONTHS FREE ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP TO EVERY ENTRANT!! (those that came last year can also renew for FREE too).

(For Fuel, Jerrycan shuttle service to local garage available for fuel if required, two strokes bring your preferred oil).

So shove the dates in your diaries, and come and join the fun. This is our second "WASHKOSH", and we intend to make it even bigger and better than last year. With your support we will certainly succeed.

For those who would like to bring a Caravan or Motorhome, just give us a call to let us know you are coming beforehand, so we can make sure there is a pitch ready for you.
