For sale my 2001 Jabiru UL 450 (G-CNAB). A lovely aircraft to fly – fast and comfortable for not a lot of money.
The only UK 450 jab fitted with vortex generators! Giving better low speed handling and making the aircraft more responsive especially when combined with the larger rudder. It also drops the stall speed by approx 5mph making it safer at lower speeds.
Also fitted with a GT propeller and medium A Bigfoot wheel kit, a must for soft grass strips in winter. The standard mains and fairings are also provided with the aircraft.
Murray Flint paintwork and a very well trimmed blue leather interior.
- Cabin heater

- Nicely laid out instrument panel with pod for Garmin GPSmap 496 (also included)
- Becker integrated radio and headset system with two headsets (Flightcom Classic 50x)
- Microavionics Transponder (needs software upgrade)

- Two stage electric carb heat (Ice Eliminator) and standard manual carb heat
Engine has large heads with solid lifters (engine number 797) with 490 hours TT. Full engine rebuild by Skycraft 30 hours ago. Upgraded crankcase bolts. Oil cooler also fitted. Airframe TT 480 hrs.
Very reliable engine which can run on Avgas or unleaded. All mods up to date and detailed records available for inspection.
Sale also includes 3 year old Sky4 outdoor cover.
Aircraft has a mod to allow for quicker rig/de-rigging so it takes up less space in the hanger equating to cheaper hangar costs where I am located. Basically using castellated nuts/pins and a set of wing supports I am able to rig/de-rig the aircraft on my own when required.
Permit due end of May and will be re-permitted as I am still flying until sold.
This beautiful jabiru aircraft is in great condition - Starts straight away and is great to fly. 100mph or stick to 80 at 11-13 lph.
Looking to buy a camper van and to go back to flex-wing flying SSDR so I can take my flying with me.
