Thanks for reading this ad. I am selling my quarter share of our lovely Maule MXT-7-180 Star Rocket.

AIRCRAFT: Built in 1994. Currently 985 hours. That figure may rise a little bit over the next few weeks. Very tidy aircraft inside and out. Great STOL performance. I think there's a Maule taking off out of a hangar on YouTube (and no, the hangar wasn't a mile long!). Equipped for instrument flying including Garmin GNS430 with 8.33 radio, ADF, ILS and Mode-S transponder (over £10,000 spent on instruments in the last few years).

ENGINE: Lycoming O-360-C1F. Zero-timed 2015. Currently less than 100 hours. Again, that figure may rise slightly.

AIRFIELD: Located on a grass strip just outside Stevenage which is half an hour by train from King's Cross. A few minutes from the exit 8 of the A1(M). One of the co-owners brings a bicycle on the train and cycles to the airfield. Aircraft hangared.

CO-OWNERS: The other three owners are a great bunch: One is an air traffic controller and has been meticulous about the paperwork. Another is an instrument pilot who has taken the plane on a IMC/IR(R) outings. And the third share owner also owns the airfield and hangar so keeps an eye on the plane. There has never been any issue about availability even without a formal booking system.

A survey was carried out about a year and a half ago. I'm more than happy to show this to any potential buyers.
