The group is based 25 mins from Thetford, 30mins from Norwich, 1hr from Ipswich or 1hr15 from Cambridge at fabulous Old Buckenham (EGSV) a historic and thriving airfield which has excellent facilities and won awards for its annual Air Show.

The aircraft itself is a comfortable and stable IFR equipped four-place tourer capable of reaching Le Touquet in just over an hour; with a usable 920lb load and a 110kt cruising speed this makes meaningful trips (whether for the day or for longer) more than a possibility.

The aircraft is equipped with: Garmin GTR225 8.33Mhz COM, Garmin GNC255 8.33Mhz COM/NAV, 4 place intercom, 1 x VOR, 1 xCDI/GS, 1 x ADF, Trigg TT31 Transponder, Narco NS800 RNAV& DME, Autopilot (Piper AutoControl III), Electric trim and there is a functioning lighter socket for plugging in your ipad or other electronics.

The aircraft is bookable on the internet with good availability and is well-established with a membership of eight. Costs are the capital (share) amount of: £2,600, a monthly cost of £125 and the hourly rate (£80 wet); there is a small one-off admin fee when joining the group (details of which of course will be shared subject to interest in the share).

If you’re within travelling distance of Old Buck, have a 100hrs total time+ and are usual 25hour a year PPL then this group and aircraft might suit you very well indeed.
