6th Share in a C-42 - based at Popham.

I am selling my 6th Share in a Comco Ikarus C-42. The aircraft (G-OFBU) is based at Popham and has been maintained to a very high standard.

The group is really small and friendly, and very well-run, with clear rules and an annual meeting each autumn. Syndicate members need to be members of the Spitfire Club at Popham.

There are a couple of competent mechanics in the syndicate who look after the aircraft very well.

Operating costs are £75 per month and a very low hourly rate (£5/hour dry) which is usually paid at the Annual Meeting. The aircraft runs on supergrade Mogas or AvGas.

The aircraft is easy to book through Google Calendar, and I've found it to have excellent availability throughout the year.

The £75 monthly fee (paid by direct debit) covers hangarage in a new uPVC hangar at Popham, full insurance and all base landings at Popham (including unlimited circuits).

The group has an excellent relationship with a BMAA Instructor for NPPL (M) re-validations. A check flight with a group member in the new aircraft can be arranged at cost.

The sale will be subject to approval and acceptance into the Group.

Reason for sale is that the Group has recently moved from Old Sarum to Popham and I would prefer to do my flying slightly closer to home. May take share in C42 based at Old Sarum in part exchange up to £2,500.
