Reluctantly selling my 1/10th share in our Welshpool based PA28-140 G-ASSW due to focusing on helicopter flying.

Welshpool (Mid Wales Airport) is a terrific base for G-ASSW with hanger space, great cafe and with more than a kilometre of paved runway. Welshpool is set in the upper Severn Valley with access to loads of uncontrolled airspace and lots of nearby airfields for an away day lunch.

SW has just 4760 airframe hours and less than 600 hours on the engine at the time of writing. She is a reliable, fun to fly and had a fresh annual 15/05/20. SW is equipped with Trig 8.33 radio, Garmin mode S transponder, Honeywell KMD GPS Navigation, FS 450 fuel flow computer and a Kannad ELB.

Prospective owners will need a minimum of 100 P1 for insurance, however the group would be particularly interested in welcoming pilots who may have other aviation or practical skills to offer the group. The group has current and retired professional pilots, a highly experience Instructor and an AME as members for example.

We are an easy to know group of likeminded and enthusiastic aviators keen to provide value for money flying. Any new pilots will need to have a similar mind set and be acceptable to the whole group.

Our simple online booking system works really well, with lots of availability. Our costs are some of the best you will find anywhere at just £75 per month and £70 per tacho hour wet.
