Selling my used Garmin GLO/GLONASS GPS sensor, with manual and charging cables, in full original packaging, and including the optional friction mat. All in very good condition, and in good working order.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A GLO VERSION 1, AND NOT A GLO 2. The only difference is the glo 2 has a battery life of 13 hrs.

The sensor is easily connected to iPad or iPhone devices (Not included in sale) via Bluetooth, providing a much more accurate and more quickly updated GPS position to navigation apps than the built in chips on GPS enabled devices.

I used this GLO very successfully with the SkyDemon General Aviation Navigation app.

Battery life is said to be up to 12 hours. I've never used it "live" for more than two hours at a time so can't confirm that figure, but when connected to a device as a desk test there seems to be plenty of battery life beyond that.

This version is described as being designed for iPod/iPad/iPhone, but the instructions suggest it can be used with other devices, though for Android devices an additional app may be needed to allow the sensor to properly communicate with the Android system over Bluetooth (See photo)

The Accuracy of GPS + GLONASS

GLO can receive position information from both the GPS and GLONASS satellite constellations, allowing it to connect to up to 24 more satellites than devices that rely on GPS alone.
