PA28-181 Archer II £12,500

This is not an invitation to buy a 1/8th share of just another very ordinary PA28. This is an opportunity to become an equal equity sharing member of the friendly, long established, well regarded and excellently managed Trent 199 Flying Group based at Tatenhill Airfield. The group assets include this considerably improved aircraft which benefits from modern upgraded digital avionics including arguably the most competent fully featured retrofit autopilot currently available and which incorporates exceptional enhanced Electronic Stability Control safety features.

The aircraft is insured for £110,000 and is very well equipped with a full cream leather interior and colour coordinated carpeting. It has been brought very firmly into the 21st century by a recent £40,000 upgrade to digitise the avionics. It is fully IFR/VFR compliant and legacy instrumentation has been retained to enable pilots to become familiar with the new instruments or fly by reference to the traditional gauges. Differences training will be provided by the group CRI at zero cost above the normal flying fees.

TTAF – 8857 hrs. TTE – 1140 hrs. The group financial reserves include £7,500 in a ring fenced engine fund which is being positively managed to provide adequate funds to replace the engine when it reaches TBO - estimated to be in the year 2032 based on current and historic usage.

The Standing Charge is £100pm to cover insurance and hangarage.

The Flying Fees Charge is £150 per tacho hour (wet) of which £15 per hour is allocated to the engine fund.

Aircraft availability is excellent and an online booking system is in operation.

The new Digital Avionics
Twin Garmin GI 275 touch screen Multi-Function Displays configured as PFD and HSI.
Bendix King Aeronav 800/Avidyne IFD440 GPS/Nav/Com.
Garmin GFC500 Digital Autopilot with automatic pitch trim and manual electric pitch trim. This magnificent autopilot also provides digital Electronic Stability Protection that will prompt and assist the pilot to return the aircraft to safe flight attitudes - even when the autopilot is not engaged. The system will also automatically engage the autopilot and return the aircraft to straight and level flight in extreme circumstances!

A new Garmin Digital Audio Panel integrates with the second Garmin GNC 255 NAV/Com radio and the new avionics. The aircraft was completely rewired and the system includes in cockpit WiFi and Bluetooth networking and integration with the on board Pilot Aware EC unit.

The share price of £12,500 includes the aircraft and additional equipment such as a brand new Towflex TF1 Aircraft Tug, a new 4 person life raft, lifejackets and spare headsets. It also includes a 12.5% share entitlement to the five figure retained sum (variable) in the group bank account.
