Cozy 3 Project 95% Complete. The Cozy 3 is a long range 3 seat VFR cruiser (170 kts) with range up to 1000 nm based on the Long Eze. Change of circumstances forces sale.

The composite airframe is complete inc all fillets, canopy, fairings, sanding all done and painted. Remaining work involves assembly of the wiring loom, engine install, control cables. All control surfaces have been completed and previously installed. All parts are in the kit including the engine and a new Meglin propeller, wiring kit, etc with certification file for Cozy 3. All logs, instructions, etc and signoff available.

The Lyc 150hp engine has 1341 hours from C172 and reassembled to core level. No prop-strike. Nonetheless the crankshaft was given Magnetic particle inspection, cam was reground, new lifters, gaskets kits etc. Cylinder to be reinstalled. Valves to be reground. Original cylinders plus 4 spares. The complete firewall aft is in the kit. Engine instrument NMEI box will convert analog to digital display signal. Steam Gauges all included. The whole lot will fit on a car transporter.

Currently, the aircraft is in container storage and can be unpacked for an interested buyer. Images indicate what you will see when unpacked. Estimate wiring loom 1 month, engine install 1 month, Upholstery 2 weeks. Full details contact owner is a retired CAA Lae/Engineer.
