Afors is thrilled to announce the launch of our new fly-ins website, scheduled to go live on April 1st.

This announcement is an initial call for comments and ideas from the community as we aim to build a platform that truly serves your needs.

The platform will allow aircraft owners and event organisers to upload details of aviation events, including fly-ins, trade shows, and more. Users can specify event descriptions, dates, times, and daily aircraft capacity. For events anticipating higher traffic, landing time slots can also be managed.

Pilots can register for the events, declare their Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), and select landing slots if the event organiser has implemented them. The platform will also integrate online payment of landing fees, where applicable.

Online registration will also be available for those attending by car, ensuring a streamlined experience for all participants.

Recognising the vital role of airfield information in event planning and pilot convenience, and with the recent demise of Vince Gledhils aircraft-cards and Pilot magazine's ukga websites, we are also pleased to announce the integration of the original afors' airfield database into the new Fly-Ins website. This feature will provide a comprehensive resource, further enhancing the platform's value and offering added convenience for our users.
