QUASAR ?6500

GOOD HOME WANTED FOR A PEGASUS QUASAR II TC

Engine : 582 Silver Top, Fully re-built around 27 hours ago

A/F Hours: 390

New Wing last year March 2007 (around 50 hours on wing)

Permit: Valid until August 2009

I have had an electric start fitter to the aircraft with accompanying MODs paperwork, as I felt that is wasn?t just more convienient to start it that way but also safer. As anyone who has owned a Quantum/Quasar with a pull-start will acknowledge, since the pullstart is behind you it can be difficult to get a good pull and in most cases people would start the engine outside the trike (not a good idea really).

Usual analogue instruments
ASI, EGT's, Rev, Altimeter, Vario, Water Temp, Hour Meter

Other bits
47 litre Tank
Wired for Garmin 196 (296/496) GPS and Lynx Radio Interface
Rear Steering, Training bars
High Power Exhaust, Silva Compass

Hangared fully rigged

Cruise around 60/65

The wing is virtually new, in that it was replaced last year as the old one decided it wanted to take a flight on it?s own. Well actually it was whisked away with the hangars during storms early last year.

I have owned this aircraft for the last two years, I always liked the look of the Quasar, as it looks very sleek and aerodynamic and combined with the Q2 wing flies beautifully as well.

I?m no expert on these things, but I have flown a number of flex-wings now and this ticks all the right boxes for me for both flying and appearance, you can obviously buy faster aircraft, but there are not many to compare on looks.

The only reason for selling the aircraft is I think it?s time to move on, I want to try a few other types as well as maybe the dark side of 3 axis, I will be very sorry to see her go.

Just as a curosity note, I don't know the person and I admit to never having watched him on TV, but the aircraft use to belong to Dave Myers of 'Hairy Bikers' fame, although that was sometime prior to me owning it.

May include the trailer, which has hardly been used, for the right offer.
